Policies
Race day
Packet pickup: Packet pickup opens the morning of the race, approximately 1.5 hours before race start. Details will be emailed to registered participants 1-2 weeks before the race.
Awards: Must be present to accept awards. Check your results after finishing! We do not mail awards.
Shirts: Register one month before race date to guarantee a shirt. Size exchanges subject availability only after the race concludes.
Headphones: Use with caution and respect for other participants, wildlife and traffic.
Strollers: Strollers are welcome in the Spring Fun Run and Long Bridge Half Marathon, with a registered adult. Do not register children riding in the stroller. Children participating under their own effort must be registered.
Dogs: No dogs on any course for any reason.
Registration changes
Refund policy: No refunds for any reason. Please do not ask for an exception.
Transfers: No bib transfers for any reason. Please do not ask for an exception.
Change distance after registering: Yes, no closer than 1 month before race day. No refunds. Self-serve on Runsignup. Log in to your account on runsignup.com. Go to your profile > Races > Upcoming Events > Manage Registration and make the desired edits. See the instruction video on runsignup.
Registration insurance: We recommend adding the insurance option to your registration when you sign up for a race. Learn more.
Deferrals: Medical and bereavement deferrals for a) the following season only, and b) only for the person registered. Bona-fide requests for a medical or bereavement transfer can be made by contacting the race director. Requests MUST be received 10 days prior to race day.
