Update 5/22/21 WE ARE A GO!!

COVID conditions and CDC guidelines are changing rapidly and for the better. The Priest Lake Triathlon considers your health and safety to be our highest priority. We will support CDC and Panhandle Health Department guidelines to ensure you have a safe race day experience. We will adjust race operations based on the actual conditions of race day.

At the present time we have made the following modifications to this years race;

Registration and athlete check in will have streamlined check in procedures to reduce crowding. Details will be posted in final instructions two weeks prior to the race. Our check in procedure is to make it as quick as possible for you.

Aid/Water on course. We will follow best practices for aid station support crew and hygiene. Water on course and at the finish line will be in sealed individual water bottles. (We recycle!)

We have changed the swim start to smaller age group wave starts at short intervals. The beach is wide so you can find your own personal space. This will also make the number of athletes in transition less by spreading out the race pack. This will also decrease participant density on the course.

Pre race briefing may or may not be virtual to eliminate crowding. TBD

Body marking – We will NOT have body marking. Athletes will be provided with race number temporary tats for race identification.
